ABOUT ELLIPAWS
Little Paws. Big Adventures.
The smallest moments can become the loveliest adventures. At Ellipaws, a curious kitten, a new discovery and a little imagination are the beginning of a story to share.
Created for children aged 2–5, our Princess Coco picture books bring warmth, playfulness and familiar little moments to reading time.
Meet CJ Elliot
CJ Elliot is the author and creator behind Ellipaws and the Princess Coco stories. With 30 years of experience as an early childhood educator, working with young children around the world, she brings an international perspective and an understanding of early childhood to her writing.
Her experience across different countries and cultures informs stories centred on young children's curiosity, familiar feelings and everyday discoveries. Through gentle adventures and playful moments, her books offer families opportunities to talk, wonder and enjoy a story together.
The inspiration for Princess Coco comes from her own much-loved cat. In the books, Coco becomes a curious little kitten discovering her world — exploring a new home, meeting new friends and finding adventure in the smallest things.
Created for children aged 2–5, the Princess Coco books are made for sharing with parents, grandparents and carers. At the heart of Ellipaws is the pleasure of reading together: a familiar voice, a cosy cuddle and a little adventure waiting on the next page.
